ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
DVNE POP was born between Kathmandu and Munich.
We are Katharina and Grishma - two founders, two cities, one shared vision.
Katharina alias @kaschadesign is a multidisciplinary artist from Munich, Germany. Her journey led her to Nepal to study traditional Thangka painting, where she trained with Jayaram, Grishma’s uncle and a highly respected Thangka master in Kathmandu.
She immersed herself deeply in the spiritual and artistic culture of Kathmandu.
Grishma grew up surrounded by art. Thangka painting is part of her family’s heritage and her personal passion. Her deep understanding of traditional techniques and craftsmanship anchors DVNE POP in cultural depth and authenticity.
What began as an artistic exchange quickly turned into a close friendship. Despite living on different continents, our bond grew stronger through our shared love for art, fashion and the unique spirit of Kathmandu. Distance never separated us, creativity connected us.
From this connection, DVNE POP emerged.
Today, Grishma takes care of the shop and production in Kathmandu, working closely with local artisans and supporting handmade processes on site. Katharina is based in Munich, developing designs and artistic concepts. We regularly reunite in Nepal to draw inspiration from the city that shaped our vision.
Supporting local communities and women empowerment is at the heart of DVNE POP. We actively support local artisans and collaborate with women empowerment initiatives such as @Pyari, because giving back and creating impact is just as important to us as creating art.
DVNE POP stands for cross-cultural collaboration, conscious creation and art that connects tradition, femininity and contemporary expression.
